I made my first card! I’m so proud of myself. I was a little nervous to get started but after watching this video to get reacquainted with the machine I was ready to roll.
Here’s the card and envelope.
And here’s what I learned.
- It’s a good idea to read all of the project instructions before you start.
- Make sure you know the appropriate paper sizes. I had to go back to the store to get some 12 x 12 cardstock because I only had 8.5 x 11.
- You can skip to any of the steps in the project if you need to cut something again. I made a second envelope because I didn’t think the glued-on candles would survive a trip through the mail.
- Bend the mat away from the paper when removing to avoid tearing and curling.
Now it’s time to make some planner stickers! I’ll keep you informed.
