The power of exercise
I’ve been trying my best to do about 30 minutes of cardio five days a week. That amount is the current recommendation of health experts. I’m doing it mostly so I can lose weight. I haven’t lost any yet, but much to my surprise, being more active has reduced my MS-related fatigue. And I hesitate to say it, but I think I’ve been tolerating the heat better too.
I didn’t know that exercise could relieve fatigue until I saw a video by a YouTuber who said it did just that for her. I wasn’t able to find the video in my history, so I wonder if she took it down. I’ll post it here if I ever find it.
I decided to see if there is any research supporting the idea that exercise lessens MS fatigue. There is some! I’ve listed three studies below.

Regular exercise is important for many reasons. It’s especially crucial to stay active if you have a chronic illness.
You don’t have to join a gym, just go on daily walks, sign up for online fitness videos, or try games like Wii Fit. So keep exercising, and don’t forget to eat a healthy diet. And of course, always listen to your body and don’t push yourself too hard. Also, check with your doctor if you’re not sure you should jump into a fitness routine.
