I’m learning the art of embossing, and I’m making lots of mistakes.
I used these tools and a heat tool
I experimented on a card I made with my Cricut Explore Air™ 2 machine.
I got a blobby tree
This looks like a gruesome murder.
I added silver to reduce the crime scene look.
I learned a few things.
- Embossing works better on a more detailed stamp pattern.
- Be more careful about stray powder.
- To avoid smears, put acrylic stamps on a block.
Maybe I should get a Cuttlebug. It makes embossing a lot easier. And there’s no mess.
So I gained some more experience with embossing, but I’ve still got a long way to go. It’s fun to do, though!
