I would be remiss if I didn’t write about the Covid-19 pandemic. I’ve been expecting things on the planet to get difficult because of climate change. Experts predict that a warmer climate will result in more mosquitos and the diseases they carry, like the Zika virus and dengue fever. From what I’ve read, the rapidly spreading coronavirus is not the result of climate change. It is, however, a wake-up call for humanity. Will we answer?
This blog isn’t for science stuff. I do that kind of writing in my day job. Check out Science Node if you like that type of thing.
Taking time to do things like making art, crafting, singing, dancing, writing, etc. helps me keep my sanity in this increasingly insane world. There are so many things I want to try, but I don’t have time to get to it all. Sharing my artsy/crafty experiments on this blog forces me to take on projects and see them through to a reasonable conclusion (mostly). My foray into affiliate marketing gives me that extra push to keep trying. So I do. I’m likely to never bring in a significant amount of money as a blogger. I’m okay with that. Hopefully, I can entertain a few people with my random ramblings and refrain from falling into existential angst.
