I keep cards

If you send me a card. I will probably keep it. When I first started keeping greeting cards, I didn’t give much thought as to what I would do with them. When I discovered junk journals, I hatched a vague plan to put my cards in one or many.

I want to make a junk journal using an old book cover, but bookbinding intimidates me. So I bought a couple of K & Company Smash Folios. Here’s a flip-through of what I did. I did next to no decorating, but I was happy to finally do something with some of my cards.

I would like to keep all of the cards my husband has given me in one collection. Since I won’t be making a book from scratch any time soon, I’m looking at purchasing something already bound. Like these:

I will make my own junk journal some day. It’s not like I’ll be leaving the house any time soon.
